Dale Frohman, President of Spiderhost

Dale Frohman has spent nearly a decade establishing himself as one of the region's most innovative technical minds.

In 2000, using a small loan as seed money, Dale launched Spiderhost. Created with a vision of balancing client accessibility to cutting-edge IT solutions with affordable prices, Spiderhost has evolved into one of the most competitive and modern providers of technology solutions across Central Florida. To date, Spiderhost has increased in growth every year since its inception.

While it began with core ISP-related service offerings (internet access, email hosting, web hosting), Spiderhost has launched an array of innovative new services such as WebTops and the recently announced 7-to-7 Servers, which allows small business owners to have their own server for 12 hours a day, but cuts their costs in half.

Having deep roots in the state of Florida, Dale has also had a hand in the development of some of the regions technology leaders.

Dale's technology experience began as general manager of Bitstorm Internet Service, a Deltona-based Internet Service Provider (ISP). He's held management positions at MPInet and Volaris. At MPInet, Dale was responsible for managing the core network that supported over 60 ISPs across the Southeast United States. The network supported dial-up clients, WebTV clients, DSL clients, as well as T1, T3 and fiber clients. He also managed a data center with over 1000 servers.

Dale was also a lead engineer at the Walt Disney Internet Group, where he was responsible for the web-hosting environment that included industry-leading websites such as Disney.com, ESPN.com, ABCNews.com and ABC.com.

Dale has crafted a technical niche as network administrator, engineer, and developer for clients locally, regionally, and nationwide. His expertise includes planning, designing, and implementing wide area networks, routing protocols and high-speed circuits, and maintaining and enhancing the functionality, availability, reliability, and security of system hardware and software components.

While Dale love to work, when he takes time off he enjoys spending time with his family of six. He also counts as hobbies playing sports, video games, and reading.
